South Cali Vibe – With 12+ years of cosmetology experience and a solid year of dedicated barbering, Ashley recently returned to the PNW from LA. Having worked in high-end shops from Ventura to Hollywood, she brings a unique blend of styling expertise and a relaxed, confident approach that puts clients at ease. Whether crafting a polished look or something more laid-back, Ashley’s experience ensures every client leaves feeling their best. When she’s not behind the chair, she loves dancing, traveling, and spending quality time with family.

Barber Bestie – With 18+ years of combined barbering and cosmetology experience, Callie is a pillar of Silver City Barber Shop, Kitsap’s 2021 “Best of the Best” barber shop. Her top-notch cutting skills and friendly personality make her an instant client favorite. Callie specializes in both modern and classic cuts, ensuring every client leaves looking sharp and feeling their best.

Razors Out - 13+ years of barbering. Nikolai knew barbering was his calling from an early age and earned his professional license at Bates Technical at 19 years of age! He immediately began honing his skills working at the NEX Barbershop, and now showcases his talents and precision cuts and razor skills to everyone. Nikolai is an all-around proven barber that performs both traditional and modern style cuts, and specializes in BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ hair. 

Country Comfort – With 8+ years of cosmetology experience, Tina is a proud PNW native. She left the high-end salon chairs of Gig Harbor for the classic barber chairs of the best shop in Kitsap County, following her passion for men’s cuts and hair designs. Tina’s top priority is ensuring every client leaves happy and looking their best. Her warm hospitality and personable nature keep clients coming back time and time again. When she’s not behind the chair, Tina enjoys spending time with family, rocking out to country music, and camping in the beautiful PNW.

Artists' Edge – With 13+ years of experience, including nine specializing in barbering, Kate brings a wealth of expertise to her craft. Born and raised in Kitsap County, she returned to her hometown of Poulsbo in 2023 to be closer to family. Her diverse background includes working in beloved local barbershops, high-end Seattle establishments, and even a children's salon. An artist since childhood, Kate loves the creativity that barbering allows and thrives on collaborating with clients to craft styles that suit their personality and lifestyle. Outside the shop, you’ll find her in a cozy coffeehouse, taking a scenic stroll, or tuning into her latest podcast.

The Barber's Barber – With over 22+ years of barbering experience and five additional years in cosmetology, Vickie is a true master of the craft. Coming from a family of six barbers and stylists, she was destined for the trade and is one of the founding barbers of Silver City Barber Shop. Vickie specializes in both modern and classic cuts, as well as traditional hot towel straight razor shaves. If she ever put down her clippers, you’d likely find her earning a Michelin Star for her incredible Asian cuisine.

Midwest Mama – With 8+ years of barbering and cosmetology experience, Mariah's journey began as a hobby, cutting hair for friends and family. That passion quickly grew into a fulfilling profession. She finds it incredibly rewarding to help individuals look their best, but she especially loves the opportunity to style entire families—getting to know the moms, pops, and kids along the way. When she’s not behind the chair, Mariah enjoys spending quality time with her two kids and loved ones.

Busy Bee – With 8+ of experience in cosmetology and barbering, Theresa thrives in a lively shop where she can showcase her skills and top-notch customer service. She is proficient in all types of cuts, serving clients from toddlers to seniors. While experienced in a wide range of hairstyles, her talents truly shine in tailored men’s scissor cuts, clipper fades, and flat tops. Theresa embraces the classic barber atmosphere at Silver City Barber Shop, ensuring every client leaves looking and feeling their best. When she’s not behind the chair, she enjoys crafting, cooking, and exploring with her little family.

Wandering Barber – With 7+ years of cosmetology experience, Kiersten is a recent Kitsap County transplant. Having grown up as a military kid and now a proud military spouse to a submariner, she embraces the ever-changing nature of life, adapting to new places and experiences. Kiersten describes herself as a wandering soul, and clients will quickly come to appreciate her open and friendly personality. When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her immersed in a good book, singing her favorite songs, or spending quality time with family and friends.

Salty Barber – With 19+ years of experience in cosmetology and barbering, Jenn is a Minnesota native returning to the PNW, where she was first stationed in the Navy at just 21. It was during her time in the service that she discovered her talent for men’s cuts and styles, eventually turning that passion into a successful profession. Jenn specializes in high-and-tights and beard sculpting, bringing precision and expertise to every cut. When she's not in the shop, she stays dedicated to continuous learning in her trade while balancing life with her two boys, two dogs, and a cat.

Jill of all Trades – With 12+ years of barber/stylist experience, Danette is the all-around barber you’ve been looking for. She can give you a precision cut, tune up your beard, and even tune up your classic car. Danette loves working on projects that keep her busy and happy, and she is equally dedicated to perfecting her barbering skills. She is a natural at providing top-notch customer service. Danette offers a wide range of cuts and styles to suit any preference.  For downtime, Danette enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with her family.
